Spirefall: Ghost Code
A cyberpunk story I've carried around for fifteen years, finally out of my head and onto the screen, song and all.
- In my head
- Fifteen years
- What it is
- A song and an animation
- World
- Spirefall, cyberpunk
- Made with
- AI tools, finally good enough
For fifteen years, I've carried a vision for Spirefall.
It's a cyberpunk story I desperately wanted to tell. But the technology just wasn't there.
I'd attempt pieces, fragments of what I imagined, and they never quite connected. The gap between what I could see and what I could actually make felt insurmountable.
Then the tools caught up
In the last couple of years, as AI tools have matured, they've opened doors I never thought I'd walk through. Suddenly I could rapidly prototype visuals, try out animation styles, and take a real swing at the music and soundscapes that had only ever lived in my head.
Music especially. That's something I've always wanted to craft but could never quite bring to life on my own.
So this is it. The song, the animation, the world. It's what came out the other end of that long wait.
After fifteen years of dreaming, I finally have the tools to build the world I've been imagining.
